Hadrian Briggs2024-04-24Set on the banks of the river lune, this oasis is the ideal spot for a pint, somewhere to stay, or something to eat. It is famous for getting flooded at high water on big tides. Ten minutes drive from the center of Morecambe and Lancaster. Well worth a visit. Very quite and peaceful, with its own car park.

Things to do in the local area
The Golden Ball is located within equal distance of Lancaster, Morecambe and Heysham. We are also ideally located for anyone visiting the Isle of Man, as the ferry port is a short drive from the hotel. The Lake District is only 30 minutes from our door, or in the other direction we have Ingleton Falls, Settle and the famous steam railway.
